Mandarin Chinese Course
standard Chinese class is written and designed especially for people who want to take Chinese as a second language. It is also suitable for any student who is interested in learning Chinese systematically and eventually reach high level of this language.
There are five levels in the standard Mandarin course. It provides instruction in all four language skills of aurally understanding, speaking, reading and writing. A wide variety of activities are used to train students to be independent and creative in learning and using the Chinese language.

There are 5 levels for the course, you can choose appropriate level according to the level description.
Elementary level 1
We will first help students master the rudiments of Hanyu Pinyin , including the Initials, Finals, and the Tones by listen to pure mandarin of professional announcers. Basic Chinese grammars will be taught in order to help students get to know Chinese sentence patterns. Students are expected to master the basic Chinese phonetics and be able to make daily dialogs and communicate with teachers by using simples sentences.
Elementary level 2
All the Chinese characters, phrases and sentences in this level are transcribed with pinyin, which makes easy for students to learn the language. The texts in this level are mainly simple daily dialogues which easily understood. Students will learn more useful vocabulary form text and examples given by teachers. Students are expected to know more than 500-1000 words.
Intermediate level 1
Interesting topics closely related to daily life and social activities make the course more useful and lively. The teachers will use fun way to teach Chinese characters, including the structures and writing orders. Teachers can also show the stroke order clearly in regular script and help students understand Chinese culture better. Daily phrases, slang, and idioms, songs will be more used to help them speak naturally. Students are expected to analyze sentence structures and talk about simple topics related to daily life.
Intermediate level 2
More dialogues and reading materials will give students more chance to speak. Students will be asked to do presentations or write a short essay, journals in order to improve their writing skills. A wide variety of activities are used to recycle and revise language in a fun way. ·The teacher may read a small article or tell a story and let students answer some questions. The phrases' usages are also introduced with carefully chosen examples. The students’ listening and speaking skills will be improved quickly. Students will be expected speak fluently and express themselves without difficulties.
This level is a tailored one for those who plan to proceed rapidly and systematically to a higher levels. We will try to choose the suitable lessons materials to meet students’ requirements. Each lesson in this level has a main text with a clearly presented vocabulary list for students to practice and review the words and phrases. The phrases' usages are also introduced with carefully chosen examples. A wide variety of activities are used to train students to be independent and creative in learning and using the Chinese language. Additional texts offer students information about China's unique culture, traditions and customs.
